• The pointing devices can not be removed (membrane keyboard, trackball, touchscreen, touchpad) and the regulation of monitors, boards and connection cables of the computer can not be modified.
• The structure is very strong, starting from the impact and liquid resistance in an inside environment, the meteorological events (rain, wind, humidity, cold) in an outside environment and arriving to the vandalism acts in an environment not controlled.
• The software application is "armoured" to avoid that somebody can lock the application execution or even worse can destroy the functionality of the Operative System.
• The access can be controlled by chip card or magnetic band card to avoid that unauthorized people can use the kiosk.

Information points are objects that have to be put in preexistent places and for this reason they have to contain some aesthetic principles:

• They have to be in conformity to the environment and this is possible with the combination of shipes and colours. A product too coloured or with a shipe too technological can not be installed in a hystoric or traditional places (for example a yellow multimedial kiosk in a severe place like a monumental church). In our realization we always think the totem like a furniture complement.
• Kiosks has to be attractive to catch the attention and curiosity of the public that come up and start to use them. Another basic parameter is the easiness use of the information Kiosks. They have to dishearten the following barriers common known about home and office PC. 1.
• Cultural obstacles: Computer science culture is left out by very friendly mechanism of interface such as touch screen, while linguistics barriers are avoided by multilingual applications and guided audio-video integrations which arrive to vocal controls in advanced models.
• Architectural obstacles : Kiosks are a consolidated and advanced means of public information and must be designed and installed so that disabled and handicapped people can use them too.
